DESCRIPTION:From the website: \nThe Pembury Tavern is asking the ultimate beer question to some of our favourite brewers\, beer writers\, historians\, and aficionados to bring you a line-up of some of the best beers in the world. \nTo start things off right\, we’ve asked 2021 Beer Writer of the Year\, Pete Brown to bring us his desert island beers as he leads a talk and tasting session all about the tradition and culture of London’s great pubs\, a subject he undoubtedly knows plenty about. From the start\, with his first book Man Walks into a Pub\, Pete has been writing about great pubs\, historic pubs\, and lots and lots of bars. \nJoin us\, Thursday 13 October at 7pm to find out what Pete is drinking. \nThe talk will last approximately 90 minutes and will include 4x ½ tasters of Pete’s favourite beers. \n
