Miracle Brew at Off The Shelf Festival

Miracle Brew is the story of my globetrotting adventures in the nature of beer. Recent reserach shows that only 22% of people know what beer is made of, which is bizarre when you consider that beer is the third most popular drink in the world, after tea and coffee. This book explores the nature and science of each of beer’s main four ingredients, and why each one is truly special in ways you’ve probably never thought about. At this talk I’ll be going through each ingredient, and we’ll be tasting beers that show the character of each one. There’ll be a Q&A and book signing afterwards.
I did my first ever Miracle Brew event at this festival two years ago, before the book was even written. I’m delighted to bring the finished project back.
