Beer Porn

Beers of Europe is my favourite mail order beer shop.

And you can believe me when I say that because I’ve asked them in the past about discounts when I buy beer for tastings and events and they’ve ignored me, and yet I’m still saying how much I like them.

They asked me to feature this video on my blog. I think they asked a lot of people and they did it months ago. I’m just catching up.

So here’s some beer porn. I kept waiting for a punchline or something which never arrives, but the one thing it does very well is convey the sheers epic scale of the range.

Enjoy.

thinking of doing a "mash up" of the video with godspeed you black emperor over the top instead! It's a little relentless nice beer tho'.

I was best man at a wedding, which was located about 10 mins from here. And I had the responsibility to keep the beer flowing all week. Not a problem! Took a photo of the aisles because I was so amazed. Loved the video. Ahh memories.

I've never managed to buy anything from their online store and I must have tried about 20 times in the last five years. It's a very flaky website. Maybe I'll just visit the bricks and mortar shop sometimes (looks great).

Conversely I've never had a problem with the website. It's not the most modern feeling, nor is it a thing of particular beauty, but the stock's great, delivery times very quick, and in multiple order have only suffered one bottle broken on arrival.

Mum and Dad live in Norfolk, so when I go to visit, I have to go to BofE. It's like a bloody magnet. I can't drive past! Every visit costs me north of a hundred quid too! Everyone thinks I'm such a good son to spend so much time with their parents. If only they knew.

I didn't realise how close I was to them, I will be going for a trip to Hunstanton with the family soon, looks like we will be making a stop on the way.:)

I wish I had never followed your link to that shop. It is truly a place of wonder!
I have just killed half an hour going through a wish-list of beers.
What shall I do for the next half an hour? Figure out how to tell my wife that we are going to King's Lynn. 🙂
