“Both celebrated and award winning authors have won the British Guild of Beer Writers Award between them several times. Ian won it in 2019 with his celebrated book, ’It’s the Beer Talking.’
“Pete has won the same award on a few occasions and will be reading from his new book ‘Clubland – How the working mens club shaped Britain.’”
Ian Clayton was a major inspiration for Clubland. I’m delighted to be discussing the book with him. His own stories are wonderful.
