Craft Beer – Festival of the Mind, Sheffield

oThe new Sheffield Beer Report shows Sheffield has retained its position as the real ale capital of the world, bucking the national trend for closures in the brewing industry. Jules Gray, Founder of Sheffield Beer Week will introduce the author of the report, Pete Brown, in conversation with Professor Phil Withington and Dr Nick Groat, whose research explores the idea of ‘craft’, particularly as it applies to Sheffield’s brewing and distilling industries – and of course beer. Event followed by a beer tasting of some of Sheffield’s finest producers (pay at bar).
