The Apple Orchard at the Three Counties Show

£19As part of this massive, sprawling three day show that involves all things rural, there’s one of the world’s most respected and hotly contested cider competitions. I’m honoured to have been asked to give out the prizes to this year’s winners, which will happen on Saturday at noon. Just before that, I’ll be doing a talk around my book, The Apple Orchard, on the magic and myth of orchards, and why the apple is our closest fruit, which will be accessible as part of the day ticket for the whole show.
