Miracle Brew at the Abergavenny Food Festival

£16.50Miracle Brew is a globetrotting adventure through the nature of beer. Recent research shows that only 22% of people know what beer is made of, which is bizarre when you consider it is the third most popular drink in the world – after tea and coffee.
Pete Brown, an award-winning writer who has been called the “beer drinker’s Bill Bryson”, presents a complete natural history of the drink, emphasising the importance of place – or terroir – to each of beer’s main four ingredients. He’ll be hosting a tasting from Newport Brewery Tiny Rebel, which bring out the characteristics of each ingredient, revealing why each one is unique in ways you have never thought about.
